Bubble & Squeak

Method

  1. Peel potatoes and cut them into smaller sizes, put in a cold salted pot, bring the up to the boil until cooked. Strain potatoes out and let it steam dry.
  2. In a frying pan, add a little oil and butter. Saute the onion, garlic and turkey bacon. Add the cabbage, until softened and cooked.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, mash up the cooked potato then add turkey and cabbage mixture and mix thoroughly with egg and breadcrumbs. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Make patties and and saute on a frying pan with a little oil until golden brown.
