Original Mac & Cheese Revised by Trish

Serves about 4 · from D'Open Kitchen

Method

  1. In a large pot, cook macaroni according to package instructions and drain.
  2. Meanwhile, in a medium pot: melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour for a couple minutes until thickened. Add milk and stir for a couple more minutes.
  3. Add the shredded cheese to milk mixture, and whisk until smooth.
  4. Pour cheese mixture over the drained pasta and mix until evenly coated.
  5. Top with corn kernels and stir.
  6. Finish with salt and pepper and serve warm.
  7. Notes for Trish:
  8. If you can buy cheddar cheapish - it will taste nicer
