Method
- In a mixing bowl, combine the spring onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil and salt with the chicken and mix well.
- In a pan over medium heat, add 2 tbsp cooking oil and fry the garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- In a rice cooker, add 250g washed rice, the aromatics, spring onion and chicken stock. Mix well and set to cook.
- After 15 minutes of cooking, add the marinated chicken thighs and cook together for 45 minutes.
- Serve with chicken rice chilli sauce (light soy sauce base).
