Rice Cooker Chicken Rice (for students)

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the spring onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil and salt with the chicken and mix well.
  2. In a pan over medium heat, add 2 tbsp cooking oil and fry the garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  3. In a rice cooker, add 250g washed rice, the aromatics, spring onion and chicken stock. Mix well and set to cook.
  4. After 15 minutes of cooking, add the marinated chicken thighs and cook together for 45 minutes.
  5. Serve with chicken rice chilli sauce (light soy sauce base).
