Method
- Blend all the ingredients for the spice paste and half of the fish until fine.
- Chop the other half of the fish into small dices, set aside.
- Add in all the other ingredients to the spice paste in this order: coconut milk, egg, seasoning, lime and turmeric leaves and mix well.
- Finally add in the sliced fish.
- Wrap the mixture in a banana leaf and steam for about 10 minutes or until cooked.
- Please note:
- Cooking time depends on size of otah!
- **Can also use any other fish that is firm and not watery!
