Yakisoba

Serves about 4 · from D'Open Kitchen

Method

  1. Make the yakisoba sauce by mixing all the sauce ingredients in a small mixing bowl.
  2. Heat wok with oil. Saute the garlic and onions until fragrant.
  3. Add in the cabbage, leek, carrot, mushrooms and pork belly.
  4. Saute untill vegetables turned soft. Add in the soba noodles.
  5. Pour in the yakisoba sauce and simmer for 3-5 minutes.
  6. Season with mirin, soy sauce and black pepper / salt (optional).
  7. Serve on plate and garnish with ginger, bonito flakes and sprinkle some sesame seeds.
